The American Revolution didn’t start in 1776, the seeds of resentment went back a decade. In 1766 after informing on smugglers to British Customs Agents, Capt. William Smith was the first to be subjected to Tar and Feathering in the colonies.
Now seems as good a time as ever to remind everybody that the people hold the power!
